  18. some users, and incorporates a number of minor improvements.

  25. this is a demo of "breeze", a multi-media authoring tool. 
  26. unlike other authoring software, it's small, fast, and easy.
  27. yet it's still powerful enough to do a bang-up job.

  29. *  "breeze" makes it laughingly easy to create a presentation.
  30. "breeze" supports styled text, pictures, sounds, and movies,
  31. and uses "ppats" to give your screens colorful backgrounds.
  32. and you can paste your raw materials in from the clipboard,
  33. or read them in directly from files on your hard-drive.

  35. *  "breeze" is extremely small; it's under 240k when you
  36. take out all the backgrounds, pictures, and sounds that
  37. i have provided to give you a sample of what you can do.
  38. and the program requires just 500k of r.a.m. to execute.
  39. (it'll run on systems back through 6.0.7.   for simplicity,
  40. this demo requires a 640*480 color monitor for display.)

  42. *  "breeze" saves your presentation right inside itself, so 
  43. your presentation's final size is 240k plus your materials.
  44. and when it's stuffed, that 240k compresses to under 65k!
  45. and, as noted above, your presentation runs in just 500k.

  49. pictures can be "hot buttons" that perform various actions,
  50. such as showing another picture, going to another screen, etc.

  52. presentations can be user-driven, or self-running slideshows,
  53. or "kiosk"-type presentations (which respond to user input, 
  54. but change to a self-running slideshow if user input stops).

  59. (in this demo, you can modify only 15 of those 25 screens.)
